Tina and I have decided that we really like Eagle Mountain and aren't quite ready to sell the house just yet. We took out a home equity loan, which we are currently using to pay off our credit cards. We will use additional money as needed to help with the move and to improve the house. We will finish the basement for sure, and possibly put in wood floors in the living room. (We'll also probably actually BUY new furniture. We don't own any furniture that we have actually bought!!!!) (We won't do this until we get much closer to moving back). So, when Tyler and Michelle move to SF, our family will really cover the county!!!!!!!
Second item of good news is that Tina and I are finally joining the 21st century and getting high speed internet from comcast. We are also getting digital cable!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, all national BYU games I will be able to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys will still have to provide me with the stupid MTN games :(:(:(:(:(
Third good news item is that we have started the south beach diet!!!!! We are three days in, and I must tell you I am already sick of eggs!!!!!! I don't know how I'm gonna get through the next 10 days, but Tina and I keep ourselves honest.

Congratulations guys!!! I know the South Beach Diet can be hard, but it is worth it. Stay strong. If you guys have already gone 3 days without cheating, then the worst is behind you... Well kind of. Michelle complained that my farts smelled like broccoli- that might be the worst part.
Not just the toots - we're talkin' his WHOLE being reeked of broccoli by the second week. We need to get back on track too.
I'm so glad you got that home equity loan - that will be so nice. New furniture - that seems so dreamy ... we'll probably have mostly empty rooms in our new place for a while. Oh well.

WOW!! i'm so proud of you guys. we never jumped back on that train after you guys left. thanks for being good examples! we've GAINED! :)))) but gaining weight sure is yummy! we'll do better soon though, as soon as we finish off the ice cream that is sitting in the fridge. can't let that get freezer burned, right?
