BTW the Colts have two Championships.

ok, I made a comment and it seemed a little weird so I tried to edit it then it only allowed a complete delete.

It is fun jumping on bandwagons, the pats were a good one (were being the key word) but hey, the Dolphins still have the best all time winning percentage and a consistantly voted "Best team ever" which the patsies are lacking so I had to switch back.

Comments like "hey they still have the best winning record of all time" is what losers like the dolphins say to themselves to make themselves feel better. It's what the U fans said all through the 80's while BYU was pounding them. You can enjoy the past and the great dolphin tradition (all of which happend before you were born btw) and I'll enjoy the present. 3 out of last 6 superbowls, 4 straight AFC east championships, highest winning percentage by a coach and a qb in playoff history. AHHHH, nothing like living in the present!!!!

Your right, the colts do have 2 championships, however I was referring to INDY.

Yeah, you became a fan at the right time didnt you. You ever see the simpsons where Bart and Lisa get a pool and Lisa's friends say. "Isnt it great that the day you got a pool was the day we realized we liked you?" That was a funny episode.

BTW I'm sure you still claim to be a fan of BYU during the miracle bowl even though you dont remember it.

All your ranting and raving dosent mean much when your a fair weather fan, because they arent really fans are they?

Plonnie said...

BTW...how am I living in the past..the Dolphins have the best all time winning percentage as of 2007. I'll admit we have been down lately at least I can admit...lets here you admit to your fair weatherness.

OK JERS, Here's a timeline and breakdown of my evolution into a patriots fan. I met Tina in '99 which happened to be young's final year. (he retired in '00). That was the last year I rooted for the niners. Once young was gone, I did not have the passion for niners football. IIRC, they still went to the playoffs with Garcia, but I just did not care. So, I didn't just HOP off the Bandwagon, they were still good. In 2000, I started following the patriots, and again IIRC, they were a 6 win team that year. Not exactly playoff worthy. Yes, the following year they won the superbowl, but they did not start the season looking that way. I also attended a game that year (against the fish btw). I have never claimed to be a lifelong fan of any team, think back to all those superbowls where I picked the loser every year, that included cincy vs the niners, I was only a steve young fan.

BTW, I'm not the only one in the family who"hopped off" the niners bandwagon after young retired. Huh TY TY.

I have to comment just so I don't feel left out. Might as well make this post the most "commented on" post yet, eh? Don't care about the Dolphins ... Don't care about Indys ... Don't care about football. Okay - how was that?

Love, Michelle

When it comes to the NFL, I am nothing but a fair-weather-fan. I started off rooting for San Diego, because that was Aaron Fitch's favorite team. Then I started rooting for the Niners, because of Steve Young. Then I picked up the Dolphins because of Jeremy, and for awhile, I rooted for the Eagles because of the BYU connection there. The nice thing about being a fair-weather-fan is that your team is usually winning.

Ok, now i am the only one who has not commented-first of all Marissa-I thought you were in 4th grade then but then i felt too old and though maybe i was mistaken--i guess i am that old!!! What is mystery math?--give me some problems let's see if i can figure them out!!

OK-My commentary for these posts-

I like the Patriots because i grew up here and i am supposed to! (and the fact that they have won 3 superbowls and Tom Brady is HOT helps too! :) I don't care about the dolphins or indy unless they are playing against the patriots and then i want them to lose!

We haven't seen deja vu or Ghost Rider but we did watch "Night at the museum" the other night-it was pretty funny-not as hilarious as i thought it would be but still funny!!

Ryan and Lori-we are excited to see you and your crew too and i am glad the kids got their birthday cards-we are trying to get on top of this sending them in time things--ugh!!!

I love you all and miss you TONS!! -Tina
